Tie-Rod

I have to replace a tie rod in my car...drivers side if it makes any difference.

Anything I should know like..I should get a certain name brand part or whatnot? Thanks in advance.

I like Moog, not too hard just make sure you loosen the adjuster bolt before you hammer out the old end.
Count the number of turns it takes to get the old on off and put the new one on the same number of turns. That will keep you close on the alignment.

Where do you pick up a tie-rod aside from Pep Boys. You mentioned Moog, should I order that from the web?

Got mine from Discount Auto Parts. I used a piece of tape on the threaded end so when I screwed it back on it was the same length. They have a couple of different versions
