ticking noise and miss

Hey guys here's my issues I have a ticking sound coming from the driver side valve cover it comes when I'm coming to a stop,it will tick for less than a minute then go away and comes back occasionally.

2nd issue is only when I'm on the freeway when I'm around 65 to 75 mph (3k rpm)and keep my foot on the gas like I wanna go faster the car will hiccup/jerk I seen the rpm like kick back. When I go 0 to 50 no freeway mph the car accelerates perfect and powerful.
1.Car fires up fast and stays on idling perfect.
2. Spark plugs, wires, distributed cap and rotor done, fuel filter, ignition module all been changed,I do what could cause this thank you guys

What does the oil pressure look like as you are coming to a stop? Does the tick get worse on harder stops?

Re: ticking noise and miss

Just checking to see if it was dropping to "0" which would indicate the oil pump pickup has come loose. Does not appear to be the case. Oil pressure is proportional to RPM.... as RPM drops, pressure drops.

Use a stethoscope to lo locate the specific source of the noise. If it's a valve train component, check the valve adjustment.

You second problem, the stumble when to want to accelerate, will probably take a PCM data log to track down. For now, check for a torn rubber inlet elbow, or the elbow not being fully on the throttle body, particularly at the bottom.

Woo that's good that oil pressure is fine the ticking is coming from the 2 first rocker arms that's closest to throttle. Now how do I adjust the rocker arms without messing them up?and to see if there is play or if they are too loose.Thank you

Hey Fred the red wire behind the alternator that the nut holds, the wire needed a different terminal B.C. between the wire and terminal were pretty loose. I remember when i bought the car the voltage gauge never moved, and after the car gets warm, the gauge moved up and down a lot

I don't get any audio on the video, or were you just showing that the rockers are loose?

Use Shoebox's valve adjustment procedure:
