Ticking coming from water pump Help

Has anybody ever had this problem. At first I thougth I bent a push rod or had a loose spark plug but no there is a ticking sound coming from the water pump or at lease the front of the engine. Please help

sounds like its starting to go. the ball bearings on the shaft exiting the waterpump can cause the shaft itself to vibrate and loosen up, causing a bad leak.
