Ticking

ever since I installed my hot cam and roller rockers by engine has had a ticking. I've set valve lash on many solid roller rockers before, so I'm pretty sure I know what I'm doing. If I remember right I want 3/4 past zero lash(stock lifters), I was actually worried about it being to tight.

It's not a loud clatter like valve lash sometimes is, and I've been told that roller rockers always tick a little, no matter how well lash is set.
Is that true?

Re: Ticking

BTW, this IS assuming theyre not loose, but since you said you knew what you were doing, i figure thats a given anyway
I dont have the car anymore, but after driving 15 k miles or so, one came loose, readjusted it, and 15 K later it came loose again, the rest were fine.
The ticking was VERY noticeable when loose. Otherwise, mine went about 30K miles without needing adjusting (save for that one), then i sold her anyway, hth
