Thunder Racing OTVC kit.

Im going to get an OTVC kit for my car. On the thunder racing site, it asks if you want the 90* boot. Do they mean for the opti end or the spark plug end? I just dont want to end up with 90 degree bends on both ends. Thanks

They are talking about the spark plug end. You can't have 90-degree boots on the optispark.

Yes get the 90 ends. It should come with the opti ends that you need to cut and crimp yourself.

Re: Thunder Racing OTVC kit.

I tried it on my Caprice with stock manifolds and was never really happy, 135 degree ends would have been much better, headers might change that though, I was also not pleased with how they routed up through the accesory bracket at least I could not get them routed in a way I was happy with.

The kit is a good kit, but what you have to pay for a set u have to make yourself, CRAZY. LOL i believe next time ill buy some accels for 60 bux and make them. Those taylors look good tho.

I've done the kit twice, happy with them. Assembly is not bad, just put some silicone lube on the boots and its no biggie.

Re: Thunder Racing OTVC kit.

Damn you guys have some verry nice motor's/bays. Anyways i ordered mine with the 90 degree boots from summit and got 90 degree boots on both sides. So i had to re-use my old plug wire boots. I only did the passanger side so far and it was a huge pita imo, but it looks great!

Re: Thunder Racing OTVC kit.

I got the kit when I had my car. Very happy, no more burned wires as soon as I went with the kit. This is after 4 sets in 6 months!!!

Just plan your routing before you cut!

They are really made for header applications and not stock manifolds.
