I do some inexpensive tuning on the side for OBDI LT1 F-body guys too. $75 shipped for the basics.

Bryan will be in Dallas tomorrow and I am meeting him to tune my car for me. He is doing some dyno and tune for a muscle car shop in Carrollton Texas this weekend. I got lucky and got him to meet me at his hotel where he will be staying Friday and we are gonna do some tuning to the car till it is like how I want it to be. He seems to be a very nice guy to deal with. Prolly the nicest guy I have ever delt with as far as cars go!

Bryan is Awesome...he only took about 2 hours total to Street tune my set up and the car runs GREAT (even with high z 50# injectors). I am gonna have him dyno tune it when I add more boost in october and get rid of the conservative tune so I can really start scaring myself

How is exactly does he street tune it? Does he use a laptop to do it?

He first put in a program that he thinks will get the car started and working pretty good (And it DID) then he lets me drive it for about 15-20 minutes while he monitors everything on his Laptop in the passenger seat and whatever he does not like, he made me pull over and he made a few changes and loaded it up, then we went for another 10-15 minute run to see if the changes are working...He did this like 3 times and got it pretty damn close...Then he had me go for a ~3/4 throttle run to see if the Wide Open tune to see its close (he originally set that rich before we went out) and then once he is comfortable he made me go for a few more WOT runs and kept pulling some fuel out till the O2 looked good enough for him and me. I think it took around 2 hours (most likely less than 2 hours) and it was tuned. Like I said before my tune is pretty conservative, I am sure I am missing about 25-35 HP by not being on the dyno but I this is the way I wanted it for now and when I upgrade the pulley and add a few more things by october, I will have him tune it on the Dyno where he can see if my car is getting false knock and play with the timing and fuel more to still be safe but with More power

Hope that helps,
Claude

So do you think you picked up any HP with his tuning?

Definelty but When I have him dyno tune it a few months later, I will really see More benefits from his tune and more boost.

My freind was running a powerdyne 6# pulley with headers and 224/226 cam and he drove his car up there and had bryan tune it too. His car was fast with the stock tune but now its Pulls all the way to 6300 rpms instead of 5900. (It was VERY noticeable). Also all of he gained back a lot of his mid range torque after the tune and got better gas mileage...Bryan also disabled our EGR, AIR and a few other things as well. His tuning is Worth A Hell of a lot more than what he is charging.

Thanks,
Claude
