Throttle Body Questions
Does anyone have a link to a good write up on porting the throttle body?
Also, what size is the stock throttle body on an LT1?
-Edit, New Question-
What is the correct way to do a throttle body bypass on a 93 Camaro?

(it?s the other hose on the bottom of the TB). Remove the hose from the TB and from the steam pipe. Now take the first hose and connect it directly to the steam pipe. Clamp it down and you?re finished. Some people use caps to cover the ports on the TB, but it?s not necessary.

To port it you will need bigger butterflys and everything. That is unless you just talking about smoothing it out to create less turbulence. But if you want to remove any metal you will need bigger blades. And the stock TB is twin 48mm blades.
Write ups on both would be great.
Buy a larger TB and be done with it.
Don't bother with a twin 52mm (that's the largest you can take the stock 48mm TB's), just get a 58mm.
You'll need more than a CAI to find any benfit from this though. Save your money for headers, cat-back, gears, or several other mods first. Just not worth it at low hp levels.

That sure makes it easy!! From your picture in the upper left hand corner, FWIW it looks like you have an "air-foil" in your TB already too. I suppose that is probably the best you can do with the stock TB. Personally I always considered them to be kind of a waste of money "trick of the week" type mod but I don't have any hard data to back that up. Some people swear by them. But in your case it came with the TB so its not hurting anything by being in there.
