Throttle body question

Throttle body question
I just bought a used 52mm BBK throttle body. Now my car doesn't seem to run right now. When I first start my car on a cold motor and I take off (mid throttle) it bogs out for a sec and then takes off but when it warms up then it doesn't bog or nothing. Only does it on a cold motor. Also my car has a chip to make it shift harder and it doesn't seem to shift hard anymore. Could this throttle body have affected this stuff on my car. Any ideas? Thanks a lot for the help

Are you sure the bottom of the rubber inlet elbow isn't folded under, and not fully on the throttle body, or is it possibly torn? Is it possible you knocked the harness connector off the coolant temp sensor in the water pump housing?
The throttle body will affect the shift program for the A4, but it shouldn't be that dramatic. Who knows how it interacts with the shift kit, though.

all that is connected right. Maybe I connected the tps wrong? Idk. But I don't have an A4 I have an 4L60E trans. But I have a programmer on my car which makes my car shift harder and now it's not shifting like it did when I had my stock tb on

That's really funny you mentioned that because it happened to me. It's extremely hard to see if it happens too because there really is no sightline to the bottom of the inlet elbow where it meets the TB, and you can't really even get a finger under it either. Didn't realize it until I took all that off for a head gasket job and I noticed the bottom was folded over. A good fix when that happens, as long as it's not torn, is to fit it back to the TB without the big metal ring clamp on it, then feed the clamp underneath and around the elbow after you're sure it's on correctly. An inspection mirror is priceless to make sure the bottom is on correctly too.

I'm sort of surprised he was able to verify that everything was installed correctly in the 9 minutes that elapsed between my question and his response.
As far as the TPS connector, What do you mean by "connected it wrong"? Do you mean you are not sure if you slipped the hole in the sensor correctly over the end of the blade shaft, or do you mean the harness connector? Its pretty hard to do either of those wrong. There should be a foam seal around the shaft - is that still in place?
Did you verify the TPS voltage, IAC counts and RPM after you installed the throttle body? Possibly the previous owner moved the throttle stop screw. Whenever I install a TB, I check the IAC counts and TPS voltage to insure everything is adjusted correctly. Your IAC counts should be in the range of 20-40. TPS voltage should be in the range of 0.20-0.90V, with many people preferring something in the range of 0.50-0.67V. Factory setup usually measures 0.65-0.67V.
Is the gasket between the TB and the intake manifold in good condition? Did you tighten the 4 bolts correctly? Did you put the vacuum line from the EVAP purge solenoid on, and verify that the line was not cracked while working on it? Is the gasket between the bottom plate and the body in good condition, and did you tighten all the screws? I saw someone use longer than stock screws, the plate didn't pull up tight, and coolant leaked into the IAC passages.
There's a lot of stuff that can go wrong.

no need to be cocky about it. I have checked everything before I posted this thread. Does the tps go on a certain way or can it go on anyway? The gaskets are brand new and I didn't touch anything else besides putting the old tps and the bottom piece of the stock tb onto the new one. And yes I did use a new gasket for that as well

no I appreciate you helping and I know you know a lot about these cars and other cars I'm just saying you don't have to be mean. How you said sort of surprise you figured everything was correct in that 9 minutes between ur question and my respomse. That's a bit cocky. I am sorry to be like that. I apologize though thank you for ur help though.
