Throttle Body Bypass

I have what may be a stupid question. Can someone tell me the benefit to doing the Throttle Body Bypass? Is it to keep hot coolant out of the area for a cooler intake of air? Does it make a noticeable difference? Thanks in advance.

Re: Throttle Body Bypass

Yup, that's why it's done...and no, it doesn't make a noticeable difference...but every little bit helps.

For a 1994, you would use a 3/8" hose barb to couple the hoses.
