Throttle Body Breather instead of Tube to VC

Does anyone have a breather that fits on the side of the throttle body, passenger side, to replace the tube that goes to the Valve Cover.
I know the PCV system will be affected technically, and I am not here to get 3rd degree on it.
I have speed density and the idle and metering of air is not affected as my TTS datamaster shows no changes when the air breather on the valve cover is on or the oil fill cap is on.

It wont effect the idle if its on the valve cover, but I would not think you would want one on the side of the throttle body. That would let unmetered air in and could possible effect the idle. There would be no need for it anyway. But I have seen alot of people putting breathers on the valve cover though.

You can cap it off if you have valve cover breathers. The normal air flow is filtered air through the center of the TB and then to the passenger side valve cover. However, crankcase back-pressure often causes reverse flow with oily gases back into the air intake, which is pulled into the intake manifold.

He already explained that his 93 will not see "unmetered" air, because there is no MAF..... just like your 93 speed-density setup. It won't affect idle, because the connection on the side of the TB is routed to a passage in the throttle body located in front of the blades. It is a non-issue in that respect, but............

Not sure why he would want to put a filter on the connecton at the side of the TB though.... you just cap it off as explained above.

Which passage would this be?

The tube on the side of the throttle body goes up to the open space below the plastic cover plate. That chamber connects via a hole to the space in front of and between the throttle blades.

Thanks Injuneer. And I guess I now owe "RACEON" an apology, because I told him that he would be introducing a vacuum leak if he put a filter on that port. (And that he should just cap it off.) I was mistakenly under the impression that it fed through and exited out the small hole on the same side on the rear of the TB.

No apologies needed. The PCV system on SD/MAF have been explained many times by a certain person here, yet people dont realize the simplicity of screwing it up. The engine needs air to breathe internally too. The tube on the throttle body to the valve cover is the other part of the pcv system which is needed. If you remove it, you need the valve cover breather(s).
The unmetered air thing is in my opiniion dependent on the engine build etc. For example a stock engine may not be affected as much as a modified engine, or visa-versa.
