Throttle Body

Thinking about buying a 52mm throttle body for my 96z. I noticed that jegs and sumitt have lt1 throttle bodies for a 100 less. Does anyone know what kind of performance whould I expect from either one? Which throttle body would be best for gains without breaking my wallet?

96z LT1 borla, k&N intake, hypertech programmer, 160 stat, 3.73's. Much more to come

Ported stocker from ebay would be the best bet.

Yeah, TB and the intake manifold are two pieces that it's better to P&P the stocker than go aftermarket. For most applications, heads too.

All the aftermarket TBs have some little hassles to deal with. As such for a 52mm a ported stock is the better choice long as you use a good service to do it.
