Might want to try a "search". I know I've seen posts in the past regarding the Professional Products throttle body.

I did a search. A lot of people expressing their opinion on the quality of professional products or chinese quality, but no one has posted anything about actually running one on their car. Or on the dyno or at the track.

From what I remember of the top of my head people had problems with that stuff.

Why do you feel you need one? Stock one works pretty well

I had bought a modified stock unit and sent my original unit back as a core. I wish I had just kept the original because I'm not happy with the modified one. So before I make another mistake I just wanted some input.
Thanks for the help.

i have had a pro-products throttle body for a few weeks now with no problems with it except that the throttle was hanging around 1200rpm for the first 30 or so miles but once it "broke-in" it was fine, the quality looks good the finish is good, i would buy another one

It's funny how everyone bashes Chinese quality... when 90 of what we have is made in China. I'm only made about a piece made in CHina that is of poor quality.

thanks, but the 97 doesn't have the linkage for the 700r4(4L60). I have a 96 on the shelf. I wish it would work.

No problem. My only complaint was the gasket. It was junk. I reused my factory one.
