Does anyone know if a Throttle body from a TPI can be used with an LT-1. It looks like the TPS might be different. Has anyone tried this?

 

No it won't work without alot of headach. Like you said the TPS is different and can't be interchanged. The throttle linkage is also different. There are some other issues you would also have. Just stick to the LT1 throttle body for the LT1.

 

Unless you got it really cheap, I wouldnt mess with it (say almost free).

You have to hack off your linkage and put the LT1 linkage on as well as hack your wiring harness for an older style plug for the TPS and IAC.

 

Yeah, it was the free type situation but I thought that it looked alot different. Thanks for the info.
