I wouldnt say its specifically for nitrous, more of a nitrous influenced grind.

the grind lloyd spec'd me for my n/a motor had a 12 degree split

I agree, it should run good. Don't worry about getting the "perfect cam" when you're on a budget. Set your valvetrain up right, get a good tune, and you'll be fine.
