Thoughts on Auburn Posi w/ 3.73

Im running a 383 NA. possible n2o down the road, and still have my stock posi unit and 3.42 on my 96 M6, I was wondering how you guys felt about using an Auburn Posi unit and 3.73 gears. My father has a brand new set he was gonna use for his Nova but went a different route and is going with a Ford 9 because of the new power he is gonna run.

Would Auburn and 3.73 work well for me?

Pro Auburn? Yes...regular Auburn? No....Had Auburn unit with 3.42s running with a 383...it lasted 2 seasons...Got a Pro Auburn and its been 5 years and still works...however, I think an Eaton with 800lb springs would be best in a 10 bolt...
