Those of you with Lou's short stick...

Are you guys happy with it? Is it worth the money? I have my Pro 5.0 stick cut about an 1" right now and was wondering if it was worth the cash to get Lou's stick.

You probably won't see any difference over your current setup with Lou's stick. The Pro 5.0's stick is already pretty solid and straight and since you shortened it, it's pretty much what Lou's stick does.

PS. On the other hand, if you do decide to get it, Lou is a great guy to deal with.

Love my Lou's short stick for my shifter. But also agree with Ion, since you have cut your Pro 5.0 by 1" already. If you need it shorter, can't you get it more.

I do like the Pro 5.0 as is but Ive heard that with Lou's the combo of the two is unbeatable.

Anyone else with Lou's want to comment?

96z, did you get your pro 5.0 from the group purchase? just wondering because i did not get mine in yet. i have heard nothing but good about lou's short stick. however, i will probally just cut the shifter off and get a shorter throw that way if i decide its not short enough.

Lou's short-stick is money well spent! I lived in the same town as Lou and when I bought one of his short-sticks, he even installed it for me at a local f-body meet! Lou is AWESOME to deal with and there is more than one stick to choose from - some have a more defined angle whereas others do not. You won't be disappointed.

Here's the best place to buy it... http://www.afterthoughtsauto.com/lousshortstick.html

i got my shifter from speed inc. and for 160 it came with there own short stick. and thats worked GREAT for me, pro 5.0 + speed inc short stick + only 160 bones = Happy shfting Also if u get an MBA shift ball, it sits all the way down on the stick. Meaning the hole goes almost all the way through the ball, making it even shorter.. i recomend the MBA ball to go with it

I have the Pro 5.0 with 1" ~ cut off, and the MBA ****, it does sit pretty low, I wouldnt have any decent pics for comparison since i've only had it in my 3rdgen, but the throws are definetly short.
