Those who have installed SVOs...

When inserting the injector into the fuel rail, the clip goes into the first (the most bottom) groove correct? When I did this they do not seem to be seated too deeply into the rail. The second groove does not run entirely around the injector so I can't see how you could clip it in there. I just want to be sure since we are dealing with gas. Thanks. By the way they are new 30# if that makes a diiference.

I did do a search and people have left the clips out entirely. I guess that the rail is bolted down. Anyone have any problems because they did not use the clips?

I used the Clips on my 30# SVO's. They clipped on and seated fine.

I used the clips on mine as well.
I didn't like the way they looked either at first so I just put it together and bolted it all done. I tested for leaks by turning the switch on and letting the fuel pump prime the system.

If you don't get any leaks your in good shape.
