Those w/ Elec WP experience, help

Ok, I hooked up my Meziere WP to my battery to test the direction before installation, and it is spinning clockwise as you look at the impellar. That means it would be spinning counter clockwise if it were mounted on the car. Is that the right direction for the blades to be spinning?
It just doesn't seem right. I think the stock impellar spins clockwise as mounted on the car w/ everything else spinning clockwise.

Another thing, I switched the polarity by hooking up what Meziere said to be the positive, I hooked it to the negative, and hooked the black wire up to the positive, and it of course changed directions. It spun in what looked like the right direction (Counter clockwise if looking directly at the impellar). I just need to be sure. When hooked on the car, which way should the water pump spin...clockwise or counterclockwise?

Mezeire= clockwise looking at the impeller face of the pump..
CCW looking in the inspection hole [plug in the back side of the pump[front side if it's mounted on the car]

Just saw your other post about engine rotation..
Don't forget that the water pump drive gear reverses the cam and crank rotation... so the WP rotates CCW looking at front of motor..
