Those with LE heads/cam come inside again...

I made a thread back in August 2004 about the same subject and got out of the lt1 world for awhile, but I'm back now and am going to make a similiar thread and see if we can get some updates and new info from people, here is the old thread.

http://web.camaross.com/forums/showt...&highlight=383

Lets do the same format...

I'm just wondering who is putting down what numbers with what combination. Please only post if you have LE heads/cam(Other Joe O. cams is acceptable, and also other Bret Bauer combos)

Info I'd like about the car(this info is on my old car)...

Heads--LE1 heads but with rev valves
Cam-Joe O. custom grind (220/226) for the sleeper effect
Tranny/stall/clutch--stock auto with 3000 stall(3600 now and flp tranny but no new times)
Headers/catback/etc--Jet hot long tubes with stock catback and e-cutout
Gears--3.73's
Suspension--lca's/panhard rod/sfc's/no front sway
Tires--et streets
stock bottem end/383/396/etc--stock bottem end
Weight-- 3290
Dyno --384rwhp/363rwtq with a base pcmforless tune.
track times 11.71 at 116.7 with a best of 1.65 60ft

My set-up is almost exactly the same as your old one and about as old. You sure the Joe O. cam wasn't 222/226? LSA is 112 though for emission reasons, which I am except from now. Same heads as yours on the stock shortblock. 2800 Vig, and if I can duplicate your 60ft. it should run a 11.90. Damn close right now. Car is full weight. HP and TQ in sig.

Side note - RealQuick, does your power hit the wall at 6000 rpms?

I had the same problem, just at 5800, it turns out I wasn't running enough seat pressure and I had to shim my springs. I think I fixed it, I won't know for sure until I get back to the dyno though.
