Well for those of you who missed it, My car put down 408.8/395.7 SAE with an ignition issue. My Delteq gets here today, and I might just have to head back to the dyno this week

Did you check the valves to make sure that they were straight?

TTT...I ended up breaking the timing chain my 383 with less than 500 miles, but it should be back in the car this weekend. Hoping to have dyno #'s by the end of next week and track #'s the following Sunday. Might even get a few nitrous passes in if the dr's are holding up good enough.

Going back to the dyno soon, was running 11.9 A/F and blew a header gasket before I got a chance to tune her, best was 405RWHP/360RWTQ SAE corrected, still a 350. Hoping for 415+ next time

What kind of gas mileage are you guys with the le2 cam and heads getting? My car is a daily driver so I don't want to hurt it to much. Right now it's an automatic but I do want to convert it over to a 6 speed.

I don't have times yet, but mods in sig. FWIW, I bought the comp 233/239 XE 112 lsa cam about one month before lloyd started doing custom grinds and I wish I would've waited for one of his cams....

My last time at the track, I was having traction problems best 60' was 2.14. I ran a 13.00 at 114mph. I am thinking of replacing my hot cam with one of Lloyds cams. Think I cound get 4 or 5mph out of an LE2???

375/360 w/ DIY home ported heads and LE2 cam... 357cu. in.. stock crank and rods, heavy speedpro forged pistons.
I can only get it to pull to 6k right now.. I can rev to 7k.. But power drops off really fast - and the A/F dips way rich. Once I get that issue solved, I'll prolly pick up on peak power too. We'll see. I'm not too worried about it

TTT...No dyno #'s yet with the 383, but I did get two shakedown passes. Best of the two was 11.78 at 115.6 with a 1.64 60ft on DRAG RADIALS. I got my goal.
Hopefully I'll have dyno #'s this weekend and will get a few more passes in with a better tune and the shift points set back up.

LE Ported heads (before he started the LE1, LE2, etc.). They had the 2.00/1.56 valves and flowed 271/187 @ .550" and I had a XE230/236 .544/.556 114LSA cam. With a mailorder tune I made 383rwhp/353rwtq. I only got to the track with an older tune (368rwhp336rwtq) and still ran 2.07 60' 8.2/90mph and 12.5/114mph.

BTW up top I posted "head gasket" I meant I blew a header gasket, my Air Fuel ratio was 11.9 but still got 405rwhp/360rwtq out of a stock 350 with LE heads and LE 3 cam, I'm hoping for 410-415rwhp next time
