those with asm mid length headers

im thinking about ditching my long tubes for a couple reasons and wanna go with some mid lengths and found out that these are 1 3/4" tubes also but would like to know what kind of plug access they have or is it tight with these too? and also can you run plug wires in stock location or do you need the over the valve cover ones?

I don't find any significant difficulty with the plugs. Don't know about the stock wire routing, but I do run my MSD 8.5's under the headers (from 8 LS1 coils under the radiator).

I've also cleaned up a lot of the stuff under the hood (A/C delete, fuel lines at the back of the enigne, etc.) so that might make access a bit easier.

I think plug access is better except for nunbers 5 and 6. Those are hidden by the tubes and is hard to do IMHO. But great power for mids

Ahhh... makes sense now

Having worked on cars with both, I prefer longtubes over AS&M/RK Sport headers.

im just tired of burning wires n stuff. unless im doing something wrong i cant keep plug wires im to the point now i dont care bout racing anymore i just wanna at least drive my car at some point. i have worked n worked on it and cant get it right so im trying to eliminate some things. maybe i shoulda got the headers coated from the jump but that still dont mean they wont burn stuff

You're doing something wrong. Things are tighter with AS&M Mids.
