those w/320-340rwhp (or less) inside. Post your times, I need some comparison.

What kind of times are you guys running with similar hp numbers?

So far my best run is in the sig. That is with e.t. streets. Mod's are: cc305, hooker long tubes, duals w/ x-pipe, 1.6rr, 52mm TB, 3.73s, 2400 stall, 24lb SVO's, and the heads are mostly stock with just a valve job.

i can't figure out what the hell is going on. i don't know if its track prep, weather conditions, or poor driver. the car dyno'd 324rwhp, 320rwtq before the long tubes, and 52mm TB. I've made some tuning changes since then also. The car is stronger since I dyno'd also. I just thought it should be running a little quicker than it is. I know there are a lot of factors but i'm just wanting to see what cars with similar power are running.

Im not sure but it seems to be a little low in the trap speed's. What elevation, temp, etc was it on your run? I trap 85mph in the 1/8 with the mods in sig. I would think your dynoing about 340's rwhp range. What are your shift points set at?

Yeah we need some more info but your converter is holding you back and what tires are you running on. My car with 320rwhp and stock 3.23's 2800 Vigilante stall et streets ran 7.98-8.00's @ 86mph 1/8th and 12.51@107mph@3700lbs. Since i have done some tuning and couple more mods and went 7.80@87mph and 12.30's@109mph N/A. But I usually 60' 1.72's best being 1.69's.

See sig. Shortly before going to the track the car put down 335 rwhp. I expect that with the gears and stall, !CAT & better tuning the car is in into the 7's now. Hopefully I'll be able to get back to the track this summer to prove it.

Last year when I had 327rwhp, 352rwtq with a mild cam and bolt-ons the car ran 12.616 @ 110.33mph with a 1.869 60ft on BFG DRs. 1/8 mile times were 8.122 @ 85.70mph

I am not sure what the car weighs but I have removed the spare, jack, fog lights, washer fluid canister, !air pump, and a few other little things. I removed the amp, and the sub box also. It has a z-style fiberglass hood rather than the stock metal. I feel that the convertor is probably holding me back as well. Although the convertor is better than stock, it is not comparable to a Vigilante or other name brand. I have no idea what brand the convertor is or what the STR is. I had it installed when I had my tranny rebuilt about two years ago. I just feel that this car should be running 8.0-8.1 at the minimum and should be trapping at least 85. Who knows, maybe I just need some good track prep and good weather. I'll try to weigh the car sometime.

It went 8.34@84.5 13.01@105 about four months ago with a high RPM stumble at the SLP day in Ennis. I fixed the stumble and dropped almost 200lbs off the car. I went back to the track about a month ago expecting 8.1s or so and the best I did was 8.29. There were some major differences in weather and track prep though. All of these runs were on E.T. Streets.

Thanks for the info and replies guys. Keep them coming. Its kind of nice to actually get some input on something for once.

Thanks Frank. Your car is unbelievable. I think you are good example of a perfect setup, good weather, and good driver. 96Z I think we have probably run in similar weather.
Anymore comments???

Dyno and 1/4 in sig. Race weight of 3650-3700, best 1/8 is 7.53 @ 89.9. Normal times in the 7.6-7.8 range depending on weather and track conditions.

I think you biggest problem is the converter. 2400 might as well be a stock converter. I'm running a Yank ST3500 and I have always thought it was on the conservative side.

I also forgot to add that I have BMR boxed LCA's, relocation brackets, and a Granatelli panhard rod.

Mods in the sig. With the times in the sig. Stock heads and stock stall. I know there is a lil more left in it the way it sits. The run in the sig was with a 1.9x 60' on street tires. Car weighs prolly around 3650 with me in it. I think that in the cooler weather I'll be able to trap 110 or so. Since the run in the sig was done over the summer
