Thinking of using MSD universal plug wires instead of Taylor
Thinking of using MSD universal plug wires instead of Taylor
Got my Jet hot longtubes other day and since I've read a lot of people have problems out of Taylor wires I think I'll go with MSD. I need to know if this part number out of summit is the correct wires for LT1, MSD-32139. Do these come with the opti ends and the plug boots? And are they long enough to do ovc. I'll also get some Made For You loom kit.

How come you don't get this?
It's made specifically for the '93-'97 camaros. This is what I bought for my '95 Z28 and it works perfectly fine. Plus it's a few bucks cheaper.

Jwar............you don't have headers do you? I had MSD 8.5's till about 2-3 weeks ago. When I replaced them with the taylors # 5 and 6 were crispy as can be and arcing like a **** on my headers. I really like the taylors so far.
P.S. I had the MSD 32149 set.

If I use some dielectric grease and maybe some sleeves to put over the boots do you think I'll be alright with the taylor wires? That way I can just get the Taylor OVC kit from Thunder Racing?
Also I tried ordering from Thunder Racing once, but I don't have a credit card, just a debt-it/check card. And it asked for a phone number off the back of the card and mine don't have one. Its a visa national city check card does anyone know the number?
