Jim,
you mentioned that if there is not enough LT1 owners you would have to get creative?

How about throwing a little v6 guy in the mix for creativity!!

V6 guy, not stock

ETown on the 8th

James, were you at E-town on March 8th? I think I seen ya and your firebird if so. Battery relocated, etc? SLP cold-air V6? Juiced? Nice. Track wasn't too sticky that day though, huh?

I'm going back there this Saturday. Hope to see some of ya there.

how the hell did you get the curb weight to 3000! man that is light! i can see myself pulling maybe another 50#'s out of the car and possibly get the weight of the car down to 3150. but that will involve yanking the heater core, ducting, blower motor and stuff. still not sure i want to yank all of that stuff. oh well

i wish i never had to add the cage and moser 9" to make the car a bit safer as well as bullet proof.

That would be awesome!
Hey, if you hit 11’s get yourself a rematch with that 11sec stang you race a year or two ago.

GMHTP.....

Will you be sending emails or information back to the people who have applied letting them know whether or not they are in? There's quite a few EFA folk who have not heard responses, and would really like to attend. Could you PM or email me with the details? We'd really like to represent EFA well at this event

I just spoke with Rick and he said he has received at least a dozen more submissions regarding the shootout and he thanks everyone for their interest. Since he is currently right in the middle of our busiest production cycle of the year due to our polybag issue, he is hoping to be able to choose cars for the shootout and contact the owners sometime during the week of April 9th.

He has not yet settled on a format, but please remember, if your car is not selected for this shootout, Rick will keep your information on file for future shootouts. Thanks!
