Re: Thinking about Cam

With headers (headers are a must) your gonna be around $1500 or so in parts. I personally wouldnt go any smaller than the CC305 and the last cam I installed was the 242/248 Comp XFI, that thing is a beast. BUT I wouldnt go that big with a stock top end on the motor. They make smaller XFI grinds. Just look around for HP numbers, sound clips and E/Ts and see what you want. Its a pretty involved process when selecting a cam, especially for a daily driven car. Its all in what you can stand everyday. I have the CC306 in my daily driver and I wouldnt trade it for anything other than more cubes or a turbo (both coming soon) But just look around and see what you like.
