Thinking about buying '95 Z28

Hope this is OK to post in this section, but I went and looked/drove a 95 Z28 tonight and had to say I really appreciate all the info in these forums. It really put a lot of things to ease in my mind about the car so much that I might go ahead and get it! I've had a 3.8 for 12 years and wanted to stay with the LT1 just because of the nose, I prefer it so much more.

The things I was concerned about were -
Operating temperature - Was always between the middle and 3/4 mark which I thought was high, but hear it is normal. It was a shock to me because my 3.8 never ran that hot.

It's got the low coolant sensor light stuck on. Glad to hear that is normal and you either yank it or get a new one. Does anyone know how much these cost roughly??

But after reading these forums, I might do it.
It's a '95 Z28
The whole car is 100% stock
Just now approaching 57,000 miles.
$5K price

besides the low coolant sensor all it needs right now is an A/C charge and a new windsheild (tree branch fell and cracked it). But I think that being stock and low miles.... I gotta do it. (This is where you convince me I'm right )

Those temps are a little high even for a stock LT1. It definitely shouldn't be getting to the 3/4 mark on the gauge, that's pretty hot. However, fresh coolant, a 160 thermostat, and a new computer tune to make the fans come on at a lower temp can work wonders to keep coolant temps down.
