Think ill hit 11's????
im am building up my motor when im done this is what it will be. Do you think i can hit 11's with this setup
Stock block, heads:
Engine:
K&N Cold Air intake
Comp Cam 306
Comp Hardened pushrods
Proform 1.5 roller rockers
isky double coil valve springs
LT4 Timing Chain
March Pulleys
CSI 37gpm electric water pump
Exhaust:
Edelbrock shorties
Y-Pipe
Flowtech cutout
or going to a borla system
Ignition
MSD 8.5MM wires

Bosche platinum +2 plugs

You got it... don't forget the Type-R badges... those are mandatory for 20hp each.

Have your heads ported. Or do lots of weight reduction. But if i remember right Atljar has run and 11.98 with stock heads and a gm847 cam.
But if i was you i would save up and put on some good heads...it will cost about as much as a complete n20 setup would, maybe a hair more.

I would say get a good set of heads, and some et streets. You are also probably going to need better than a mail order tune. Its hard to get a good tune that way, it really needs to be put on a dyno and tuned. Some 1.6 rr's would help too.

Hooker long tubes (leaving a lot on the table with shortys) and some 4.10 gears for that M6, and good shifting and it should be in the bag... provided it's not 100 degrees on race day, LOL.

You said it!!! NOt going anywhere w/out any slicks. Gotta get those heads done while your into your motor. I run 12.20's with a little hot cam and my clutch was original clutch slipping like a ****. Now i have SPECIII and cant wait till i get to track this season, hopefully hit 11.90 something. NOw is the time to do your heads if you got the top half apart. Also match your intake. I will put money that you should hit somewhere in the 11's. GOOD LUCK
