These numbers seem right?
These numbers seem right?
Well finally got the camaro back from the shop, had it dynoed....
heres my motor work:
Comp Cam 224/230 112 lsa, ported and polished heads, 1.6rr, CAI, hooker headers, 30 lbs injectors, walbro 225 pump, borla catback
today on the dyno i put down today
277 HP
285 ft lbs of torque at the wheels
so about 355 HP and 365 ft lbs at the crank
took it to the track for some test and tune runs and ran a 13.3 @ 105.51 MPH
60' was a 2.0
granted I havent been to the track since April and havent run this setup so I'm sure theres some time to be shaven off that quater mile but do these numbers seem right?

Ya if it is still running on its stock tune, it wont make any power at all lol especially with 30 lb injectors.
Re: These numbers seem right?
Something is really wrong with those numbers.
If you're still running on a stock tune, then you need to get rid of that because it's holding you back. Going from the stock tune to a mail order tune on my bolt on/HOTcam/ported heads car, I dropped about .5 second and picked up 4 mph in the 1/8th. If it knocks off .5 second on your 1/4 time I'd still say something is wrong because that would only put you at a 12.8.

Re: These numbers seem right?
Madz28 did the tune. The air fuel ratio, after a new set of O2 sensors is perfect. The people who originally did the motor work messed it up twice. Could something have gotten damaged from low oil condition to cause this bad or a power loss without something noticably being wrong with the car?
Also, I threw a set of ported and polished heads off from someone else's project on without flow testing them, could the heads be messed up and cause this?

Re: These numbers seem right?
Maybe the cam was installed incorrectly or the timing chain is off a tooth. For comparison I made 340 rwhp with stock heads and shorty headers... at the track I ran a 13.058 at 108.5 with a crappy 2.116 60'.
Re: These numbers seem right?
Timing chain was installed incorrectly the first time. It has since been reinstalled... The car runs fine now execpt it does burn some oil when you're running it hard. I suspected maybe a valveseal or something had to do with that.
