Seems like there was someone on here from Texas that was going to report back on his 32v project.

it would require deeeep pockets to get it going. If I had about 30k sitting around doing nothing I'd try.

You don't need $30K.... there was a complete 396 LT1 project engine with a pair of the Dominion 32V heads on the "for sale" board a month or so ago. I think he will let it go for less than that. He bought it from a guy in Las Vegas who actually had it running, but now we're going back about 5 or 6 years. Unstable Bob has the setup for sale. I think Bobby Simpson in TX was the other guy trying to assemble an engine, but neither of them ever completed it, as far as I know.

why is it so diffucult to run those heads? what needs to be done to make them work... i mean i know this is not really a apples to apples comparison but gm had the zr1 motor it was a 350 with 32v heads...im not a mechanic but what part am i missing heh...why cant..arao or whoever say ok this is a guy x..who has this car... bla bla.....heres whats involved.... the car runs..daily driver..it cost x... it just seems bizzare to me..no one even tries to really use these heads at all...the performance gains claimed are pretty wack...if they are as they say, why even go a blower route heh 474 hp on a 10:1 compression lt1 out of a 350 ci is rather nice...imagine a 383 with those heads...i can keep imaginging i guess lol

Im not to sure because they are very rare but the LT5 engine had Duel over head cams but this was a very very limited production and was only prototype or race cars made

well i hear ya point im tryin to make for example...even the mustang cobras have 32v heads ....i saw a pair used for 400 on ebay...it would just seem to me...if those heads do work...theyd obviously be worth the cost...why even get a blown..car? just build a 383 with those heads game over...it be lethal for the street..and if your really insane put a blower on it...i dont know..to me its a niche head. no one else does em for small block chevys that ive heard of.......i figured if they got the prices right and people using em...**** keep margins low at the beginning...i know people would buy em...i would lol ..

LT5, never heard of it, wow, DOHC tho, that must have been a pretty damn quick car, Do you have to do all the reverse flow mods to make those heads work?

LT5 was used for 5 years I believe in the ZR1 Corvette of the early 90's. It shares VERY little in common with an LT1 block....about the # of cylinders and displacement, thats about it. And as far as the Arao heads go, not only are they expensive as hell, but you then need to convert them to reverse flow and a whole bunch of other things which i have no idea what exactly they are.
