Berger chevy (along with two other dealers in america) sold the first gens back in the day. nowadays we have Berger LS1 camaros, i dont think they use the yenko badge anymore, or even did any LT1s for that matter.

Yenko Was a dealership in Pa. in the 60's. They were one of the first to shoehorn 427 into the Camaros. Berger or anyone else for that matter did not "build" a Yenko but were given cars thru a "network" set up by Yenko, these cars were delivered to select dealerships. It wasn't until around 69 or so that GM began to make the cars available to everyone thru the COPO (central order production office) . I believe Gibb Chevrolet was the man for the ZL-1 camaros and others did also. Berger was a tuner back in the 60's and was able to sell Yenko's.In 69' or at least that model year the "COPO Camaros" were available to all. I have read so many conflicting things about the above info, more so details, but the main body of it seems to be close to fact. I have never been aware of any other dealership "putting" a Yenko badge on anything themselves.

Yenko Dealership hasn't been around for a while. I'd say it was just some badges someone put on.

All you ever want to know about Yenko, and then some:

http://www.yenko.net/

And, while your at it, scroll half-way down this page to see the original ad for the Yenko back seat in my '64 Corvette coupe. As far as I know, I have the only Yenko back seat left -- I bought the car with the seat in it in 1968.
