are there 2 types of felpro lt1 oil pan gaskets? (pics)

ok the first oil pan gasket i bought from summit was blue and had those little blue tabs that align the pan on the gasket.... well upon installation i seen it had a slight tear in it and i asked summit to exchange it... well they did and they said that they sent me the exact same part number as before...so the box comes today and i open it to find a Grey gasket with a steel core and no gasket aligners... its part number os 34500 R.

heres a pic of it installed on the block...also a pic of the part number on the box.

it seems to fit ok but its just Grey and has a visible steel core...also the little spacers that make the gasket crush proof are also steel... is there an advantage of running this one or should i try and get the blue one again?

I've only seen the Felpro blue oil pan gaskets. Is that grey one as thick as the blue?
