Texas Speed and Performance "Rumbler"? Opinions Please.

Hey,

I was looking into possibly picking up the Texas Speed and Performance Rumbler exhaust. I was wondering what you guys thought of it. Sound wise, performance wise, durability, etc.

If someone has a sound clip for it too that'd be great.

Just thoughts on it overall would be great.

Thanks in advance.

,Nick

I have one on my 96 T/A. It sounds SWEET. I always get compliments. You would not be dissapointed with this exhaust.

I have it and it seems to sound good. The added noise is there but it seems like it doesnt get louder as rpm's go up, I think my cat is bad.

Thanks for the replies guys.

Would any of you happen to have a sound clip of it or know where I can get one?

Also is it worth it buying it with the tips or shouldi just go otu and buy tips from an auto parts store or something?

If you did buy it with the tips how does it look? pictures would be great if you have any.

I wouldnt buy tips from autozone or advance, they are cheap. If you have a speed shop or exhaust garage local to you you could get some good tips cheap. websites want an arm and a leg for good tips.

thanks for the link that helped.

would you happen to have a sound clip at the car at idle then a rev maybe?

or does anyone have one or know where I can hear one?

Nice car by the way Andyj, I liked the videos.

I'd really just like to hear an up close good sound clip of the car before i spend my money on it.

Does it really sound similair to a Loudmouth?

It does sound somewhat similar to a loudmouth, but IMO it is a much cleaner sound. Get on www.ls1sounds.com and look for an LT1 with a dynomouth exhaust on it, that is basically all this sytem is. BTW, after I bought/installed this exhaust system in my car, I went down to my local muffler shop to get some tips, and they told me they could have built the whole system if I provided the muffler for around $150. Might be something to consider.
