testing vacuum/sensors/etc

Is there a DIY how-too site with wite-ups on how to test vacuum, sensor voltages and such? also i posted this in another thread, but is there a program for OBDII cars so I can hook a laptop up too it? I know of only LT1_edit.

I have a lot of info in my ScanMaster writeup showing things like resistance vs. temperature for the air and water temp sensors, frequency vs. grams per second for the MAF sensor, voltage vs pressure for the MAP sensor, etc.

LT1_Edit is a "programming tool".... allows you to alter the data tables in the PCM, turn diagnostics on/off, etc. It is not a "scan tool"... will not allow you to look as the sensors. LT1_Edit for OBD-I comes with a bundled scan software (pcmcomm), the OBD-II version does not.

For OBD-II, the best one out there is AutoTap. There is also one from a website called "obd2"..... if you do a search, I have posted a huge list of OBD-II scan hardware and software.
