is there a way to test for a vaccum leak without taking the car to a shop and how would i find the leak if there is one?

Re: test for a vaccum leak?

you can use a can of carb cleaner and spray it in the area of the vaccuum leak. meaning, around the intake manifold, tb and vacuum lines. you know you have found the leak when the idle speed changes.
