I cannot figure out the vibration. It started at the end of last year and it has not changed. It does not matter whether the clutch is engaged or not. It also does not matter if you are moving, sitting still, or acclerating light or hard. Could it be the motor just all of a sudden was unbalanced? My friend and I have checked motor mounts, tranny mount, and exhaust. Maybe something with the clutch? I did put some slicks on the car today and it feels like the clutch is starting to slip a little.

Now, we put in a Moser 12 bolt and have been having a horrible vibration from 40-50mph and from 75-95. My friend and I have also tried all kinds of different things to fix that and nothign has helped. Pinion, tires, driveshaft (haven't tried a new one, but did need shortened), and mounts. We do not know if those 2 are related in any way.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Check your plug wires...

I have the same problem... found 2 wires that got cut on the pulley... might not be the same for you, but hey' it's worth it.

 

driveshaft out of balance...???

might check lifters also...mine had a slight vibration at ~2500rpm..turned out to be the lifters

 

Anyone else with an idea?
