New Best ....12.09@112.2

Ran tonight at Beech Bend.

60' 1.70
330 4.95
1/8 7.69
mph 89.64
1000 10.07
1/4 12.09
mph 112.22

Im trying to get that 11 second slip with stock heads before I throw my 355 in there. I don't know if I'll make it, but I should with my next setup

Did you take the fron sway bar off? Put some drag shocks up in the front and I bet you'll get that 60' down. a 1.65 and you'll hit 11's. Nice times!

Re: New Best ....12.09@112.2

what is your raceweight?

You can take ~100#'s off the car in less than 45min and put it back when you are done raceing

spare tire
Jack
Passenger seat
Rear Seat
Plastic trim panels from rear of car

Bingo you have your 11 sec slip

The TH350 hurts my 60' some with the higher first gear, she hooks pretty good, gets a tire up a little

That should be your plan of attack right there.

Mine was 3680 when I started raceing the car....I now have it down to ~3430

Re: New Best ....12.09@112.2

Make sure that engine is COOL before running. I have a fan switch and electric wp that I run until the engine is 160 degrees. Also, I have found that icing the intake helps some. Get some buddies together to help push your car up through the staging lanes until the last possible second. I also put my battery on a slow charge the day before. Get rid of all of your washer fluid, and pump those front tires up to 50 lbs. Did you remove your front sway-bar? There are a few things that may help other than the usual stuff.
