Temp. Sensor near header?

Is this the coolant temp sensor? Does anyone know the GM part number for it or if I could just go in auto zone and get one? I broke mine when removing the motor a couple of days ago.

I also would like to know where I could get the push on clips that hold the nose cone and the wiper cowl on? Thanks

The one in the driver's side head is the temp sensor for your dash gauge. Shoebox's part number list says it's GM# 25037332 (AC Delco 213-77).

I don't know if people have been having problems with the store brands on temp sensors.

I just bought that coolant temp. sensor from GM and it was only 23.00.

I broke mine during the header install.

Went to autozone and got another one for 12 bucks.

No problems

Re: Temp. Sensor near header?

When I broke mine during my header install, I went to autozone and bought a replacement. It seems to be giving me higher readings than I used to get.
