temp gauge bouncing

My temp gauge has been bouncing for a couple of months now...it steadies at lower temps but once the temp rises the needle starts to bounce...

Can anyone help me?

Have you checked the connection to the sensor ? If the wiring looks ok, you probably need a new sensor.

that sensor is the one screwed into the side of the driver side head. you can find these at any parts store like autozone. cheap and easy fix.
