Teaser pics of my new setup..single plane setup.

I'm going through a rebuild and decided to upgrade a few things while I was in there. Cam is upgraded, intake/throttle body is upgraded from a fully ported/welded lt4 with a monoblade, and no more opticrap It should be going into the car this week but I have alot of loose ends to finish up on the rest of the car before it hits the track. But thought some of you would enjoy seeiing the new setup.

Very nice build. Are there any clearance issues with the rear mount distributor and the cowl? If so, how did you overcome them?

Sweet setup!!! Kinda sucks that you're going away from the stock(ish) type LT4 setup though...I really like seeing people push the limits w/ modded OEM stuff.

What cam profile changes did you make? More duration, tighter LSA, etc.???

It is the accel intake and has been fully ported. I haven't flowed the heads with this intake on it but we tested an out of the box Victor EFI and right out of the box it flowed right with my fully ported and welded lt4 intake. The ports were very small and not even a close match to my heads but still stayed wtih the lt4 and outflowed it by alittle in the higher flow ranges.

LT4 Power..if I hit my goal who knows..I may throw the lt4 intake back on it and see what it can do. This is alot of preperation for the turbo setup which is next and I know there are big gains to be had with a turbo by changing intakes..so I figured why not try it now. Plus I love not having to worry about a damn opti any more. I've fought them for too long. I went with more duration, more lift and same LS as my old cam. Allan and Terry at futral motorsports speced out the cam for me..we will see how it works. Its still lt4 heads I just got a better intake. I went pretty far for a 6 speed with a lt4 intake but it is time to move on.

What engine management system did you go with? (Or do you have)

Looks really good. It will be nice to see your car go 9s with a stout little 355.

Really nice job in every aspect! Also, what brand shaft rockers do you have and what did you have to do to the heads to install them?

looks great, should make nice nice numbers!

btw, what are you using for valve covers with those rockers? I have the same rockers and I am looking for alternatives to what I have found so far...

I have some valve covers that I picked up on ebay..not my favorite design but they were priced right and had no clearance problems. Even seal good so far.

The rockers are jesel sportsman series. A nice affordable setup and hey def. helped me pick up some HP.

So what needs to be done to the heads and how much does it cost to run the Jesels? Thanks.

I bolted them on..nothing had to be done to mine. According to your setup you will need to check pushrod length and you may have to get the correct length for your setup. Mine workd out..with shims...to need the same length I had. So basically your looking at the cost of the jesel setup. I forget what they run off the top of my head.

That's nice to know. If you don't mind me asking, hoe much does that rocker set-up go for. I'm a little lazy and figure it would be easier just to ask you than look it up.
