i have a 93 z with the 700R4, i had it rebuilt by a guy who i think knows his stuff, he drag races and owns his shop so i figure he knows what he's doin. my question is why wont my tc lock up on the hwy, sometimes it does just fine and locks, at around 70 im doin 2100 or so rpm, and when its not locked im runnin about 2500 to 2700. what gives??? he said he put a diff valve body in from a vette and put in a shift kit. and occasionaly it wont be locked, but if i step on the gas just a tad it'l lock and when i let off or keep the throttle steady it'll unlock. sometimes it wont lock up no matter what. every thing is stock on the car except for the tranny with a 2000 stall. sorry for the lengthly post.
