so i get a check engine light sometimes when i coast downhill. The mechanic scanned it and said it was a torque converter locking up. I have a basic understanding of a tc is but any information u could share would be apreciated. Whats wrong? What will it hurt? is it worth fixing the transmision? The light goes away once i turn the car off. Thanks
