Which TC??
I want a TC but I dont know what stall speed to get. The 94 is daily driver and I dont wanna ruin gas milage or drivability (well some will be lost I know). I've been looking at 2800 stalls for this reason. Is 3000 or 3200 is too high. How much drivability will be lost. BTW I am going to couple the TC with 3.73 gears in the near future. Also I know lockup saves gas. But what does it do?

2800 is probably good for you, some people will say a 3000 or even a 3200 is ok on the street but I have a TCI Breakaway that is advertised at 24 to 2600 stall and you can definately tell the car has a stall in it. If its a daily driver I would go conservative on the stall, but like Ive said thats just me.
A lockup TC will "lock up" at certain MPH and thus not slip at all. This helps with gas mileage and I also think it would help to decrease heat buildup. I am no expert on this subject but if you think about it a TC designed to stall to 3000 RPM would heat up real bad and probably destroy itself and the trans if you were cruising along the hiway at 1900 to 2000 RPM without the lockup feature.
Maybe some experts will come in and explain it better but I gave it a shot.
