TB won't open all the way

I have an AS&M 54mm. It's set to just close all the way when off the throttle, but at full throttle the blades aren't completely opened. Is there any way to adjust this? Could it be the cam mechanism on the TB?

I'm assuming the blades should be completely horizontal.

Easy... you need to add a metal spacer on the throttle cable by the gas pedal. I purchased a little tube from the hardware store... cut it to length and then did a cut along it to allow it to go on the cable itself between the cable stop and the gas pedal lever... just enough to make the throttle open up all the way... then with a pair of pliers I crimped the metal tube on the cable after I was done test fitting it...

Its been there for years... Make sure you dont cut the sleeve/spacer too long else you may put too much pressure on the cable/link when you stand on the gas pedal and damage something. I cut mine a bit long and then began to reduce the lenght till it just reached the full open position on the throttle body. I was using a heavy rock to hold the gas peday down but a friend would be good help to.
