TB bypass quick help

I'm having a hell of a time getting the little elbow off. Can I cut each side of the elbow and try to get it off that way? I can get the hose on the other side of the tb off pretty easily without cutting and I can just reuse that clamp correct? Thanks for your help in advance.

indeed just slice it a part.. cut it up as much as you want because your just gonna take the hose from the other side (closer to MAF) of the TB and plugging it onto that steam pipe so cut away. I tried forever until i just decided to cut.. emo kids are smart i suppose

Thanks for your help guys. One more question though. It is necessarry to remove the elbow? I think I can get it done without it but was wondering if there is someone else who left the intake elbow on.

Never heard of anyone leaving it on, but I guess you can if you want to.

Re: TB bypass quick help

I'm not sure which years it applies to, but I've seen people use the
elbow and old clamp to connect the tubes from either side.

On both my 93 (5.7) and 95 (3.4), I used a Male-Male connector and two hose clamps.
