TB Bypass - 94 vs. 95-97
TB Bypass - 94 vs. 95-97
I'm ready to do the TB bypass on my 94, and am wondering why the stock coolant hose routing changed in 95. Was this the factory's attempt to fix a problem? Maybe to help purge air easier?
Anybody have clue?

Well, I think the later hose configuration is a little cheaper..
I don't see it as really any better, except the hoses are 'simpler'
No 'tee' in the bleeder pipe [near thermostat housing] and no rubber 'tee' in the drivers side radiator hose anymore..
It takes a little doing but the 93-4 can be 'upgraded' to 95-7 configuration..
That way you can use a Goodyear Hi Miler kit [ that's made for 95-7's] it is missing one hose of the 11 needed, but it's a good kit..
the missing hose can be rigged with a piece of 3/4" heater hose..
