tb air foil problem

I just installed throttle body airl foil on my 94 z today, the acceleration is great but if i dont bring the cars revs up and slip the clutch a bit the car wants to stumble and fall flat on its face from a stop.Have any of you guys encountered this problem with the same item?Could it be that the air foil blocks off some of the air space for the iac motor?

The airfoil should have a small hole drilled in it on the bottom for that... Did you install it upside down?

Just out of curiosity, are you sure you got your elbow back on completely? All you need is a little gap and you have similar symptoms as you described.

I had the exact same problem after I installed a Holley Air foil. There is either a hole or groove, depending on brand, on the back side of the air foil to let air in for the IAC. I had to take a dremel tool and open up the goove to allow it to flow more air. With my ported heads and cam my car would almost die at stop lights. Opened up the groove and no more problem.
