Taylor wires w/ LT's?

Well I'm on a tight budget trying to mod my car, and I just bought a set of 8mm Taylor wires for when I get around to installing LT's. Should I be be able to get by without OTVC wires if I zip tie wires away from heat sources and such....or would I be better off to spend an extra $50 for the OTVC looms? And would the wires I have even work with OTVC looms since they already have boots on them and are different lengths? I plan on Pacesetter LT's if that makes any difference. Thx for any input

You can get away with routing the wires in the stock location as long as you make sure they are clear of the header primaries. If you do decide to go over the valve covers you will need Taylor universal wires, the pre-cut ones aren't long enough. All in all I'd still recommend going over the valve covers, not only is it easier to route, but there's less of a chance of burning a wire.
