"tape" thread sealant or "liquid" thread sealant??
hi guys
im just wondering, as the subject states, which is better? mainly wanna know which one is better for the "long" water pump bolts. i used the liquid type sealnt on those threads but it seemed it all squeezed out when i put in the bolts. i used the tape type sealant on the coolant sensor threads and it seems much better. just wanna be 100% sure no coolant gets into places it shouldnt go. thank you very much

Boy you really are getting paranoid now that it's up and running
You should be fine. The paste gives more accurate torque readings but the tape will work. This is less of an issue with waterpump bolts then, say, cylinder head bolts.
