Take the heads off or not?

I've been having trouble with my car ever since I did my cam and lifters. I installed comp R lifters and have decided to put stock ones back in. Well after I took my intake manifold off I decided to check the torque on my heads just for the heck of it and on one of the bolts in the back I got about a quarter of a turn on before I reached 65 ft/lbs. I then looked and I was a little low on coolant. I'm thinking that when the car got up to temp ( that's when it always starts to act up ) that maybe I was getting some coolant leaking into the combustion chamber? Will I be Ok with just re-torquing the head bolt or shoud I go ahead and take it off and replace it? Thanks

What is the problem you have been having since you did the cam? Have you tested the cylinders with a leakdown tester? Have you test the coolant system with a pressure pump?
