tailpipes still steaming after shut down??
i have stock exhaust with a cutout behind rear axle. in cold weather after i shut the car off, steam still comes out of the pipes. i have just never seen any other car do that before. is this anything to worry about?

How long has the car been running? I know it's natural for the exhaust vapors to be seen when it's cold just like our breath, but I thought after awhile you couldn't see them anymore. Maybe I'm wrong. I bet it's probably just the rest of the gases in the exhaust just venting out after shutdown. I have heard that exhaust "steam" means a blown head gasket but I think you'd know if you had one of those or not. Good luck

When its cold outside steam comes out of my mouth when I breath should I go see a docter,I bet your tail pipes dont "steam" after about 5-10 min, thats because they have cooled down. Use your head bro.
